Pattern: Internal dryness of the Lungs due to Lung and Kidney Yin deficiency

Key Symptoms: Coughing with blood streaked sputum, wheezing, dry and sore throat, hot palms and soles, night sweats

Tongue: Red with little coating
Pulse: Thin, rapid

Bai He 4.5g
Sheng Di Huang 9g
Shu Di Huang 9g
Mai Men Dong 4.5g
Xuan Shen 2.4g
Bei Mu 4.5g
Jie Geng 2.4g
Dang Gui 9g
Bai Shao 3g
Gan Cao 3g

Preparation: Decoction.

Actions: Nourishes Yin, moistens the Lungs, transforms Phlegm, stops coughing

Contraindications: Exterior conditions. Should be modified in cases of Spleen deficiency or food stagnation due to sweet, cold and cloying herbs.
