Dang Gui Hong Hua Jiu

Pattern: Blood stasis in the uterus

Key Symptoms: Menstrual irregularity, dysmenorrhoea, incomplete miscarriage, infertility



Ingredients
Dang Gui 20g
Hong Hua 10g
Bai Jiu 150ml

Subsitutions:
Bai Jiu (white alcohol) traditionally means distilled rice wine but can be substituted with any clear 40% spirit.



Preparation: Soak in 50ml of alcohol for 48 hours, then add another 100ml of alcohol and remove the dregs. Take 30ml three times a day.

Actions: Invigorates the Blood and dispels Stasis

Contraindications: Damp-Heat conditions and long term use due to the harmful effects on continuous alcohol consumption.



Notes:
The source text just calles this "Dang Gui Jiu" but since there are several by this name I have differentiated them with another main ingredient.
