Cinnamon Twig and Prepared Aconite Root Decoction to Regulate the Middle

Pattern: Severe Cold from deficiency of the Spleen, Stomach and Kidneys

Key Symptoms: Diarrhoea with undigested food or daybreak diarrhoea, aversion to cold, cold extremities, back pain, reduced appetite

Tongue: Pale with a white coating
Pulse: Submerged, slow and deficient


Ingredients

Gan Jiang 9g
Ren Shen 9g
Bai Zhu 9g
Zhi Gan Cao 9g
Rou Gui 3-6g
Zhi Fu Zi 3-6g


Preparation: Decoction.


Actions: Warms Yang, dispels Cold, strengthens the Spleen, Stomach and Kidneys

Contraindications: Heat patterns
