Pattern: Taiyang disorder with Cold obstructing the Taiyin

Key Symptoms: Fever, chills, headache and joint pains accompanied by severe diarrhoea and hard focal distention in the epigastrium

Gui Zhi 12g
Zhi Gan Cao 12g
Bai Zhu 9g
Ren Shen 9g
Gan Jiang 9g

Preparation: Decoction.

Actions: Releases the Exterior, warms the Interior, augments the Qi, eliminates focal distention

Contraindications: Interior Heat or Yin deficiency
