Pattern: Sudden Turmoil Disorder due to Damp-Heat smouldering in the body

Key Symptoms: Simultaneous vomiting and diarrhoea, focal distention and a stifling sensation in the chest and epigastrium, irritability, restlessness and dark scanty urination

Tongue: Yellow greasy coat
Pulse: Slippery and rapid


Ingredients

Huang Lian 3g (ginger processed)
Hou Po 6g (prepared)
Zhi Zi 9g
Dan Dou Chi 9g (dry fried)
Shi Chang Pu 3g
Zhi Ban Xia 3g
Lu Gen 60g


Preparation: Decoction.


Actions: Clears Heat, transforms Dampness, regulates the Qi, harmonises the Middle Jiao

Contraindications: Damp-Cold Sudden Turmoil disorders
