Key Symptoms: Headache, redness of the eyes, pain and swelling of throat and gums, ulceration of the mouth and tongue

Niu Huang 3g
Huang Lian 24g
Huang Qin 75g
Huang Bai 15g
Zhi Zi 75g
Bing Pian 15g
Da Huang 120g
Lian Qiao 75g
Shi Gao 120g
Ju Hua 60g
Fang Feng 24g
Jing Jie 24g
Bai Zhi 24g
Chuan Xiong 24g
Jie Geng 24g
Gan Cao 15g
Bo He 15g
Chi Shao 24g
Dang Gui 75g
Lian Zi Xin 60g
Xiong Huang 24g

Subsitutions:
Several ingredients in this formula need to be substituted in the UK:
Niu Huang == Xia Ku Cao + Gou Teng + Tian Zhu Huang
Shi Gao == Dan Zhu Ye + Zhi Mu
Bing Pian == Shi Chang Pu + Yuan Zhi
Xiong Huang can be removed



Preparation: Ground into powder and formed into pills.

Actions: Disperses Wind-Heat, drains Fire and resolves Toxicity

Contraindications: Long term use.
