Category: Formulas that Dispel Summerheat

Pattern: Mild Summerheat injuring the Qi level of the Lung channel, or one that has not been released by sweating

Key Symptoms: Fever, mild thirst, unclear head and vision with lightheadedness and slight distention of the head

Tongue: Pink with a thin white coating

Jin Yin Hua 6g (fresh)
Bian Dou Hua 6g (fresh)
He Ye 6g (fresh)
Xi Gua 6g
Si Gua Luo 6g
Dan Zhu Ye 6g

Preparation: Decoction. The source texts recommends decocting two cups of water until one cup remains. Two doses are taken per day.

Actions: Resolves Summerheat and clears the Lungs
