Bai Zhi 2.2g
Huang Qin 2g
Chuan Xiong 2g
Jing Jie 1.5g
Zhi Zi 1.5g
Huang Lian 1.5g
Bo He 1.5g
Zhi Ke 0.6g
Gan Cao 0.6g

Preparation: Herbs are ground into a coarse powder and decocted. Modern practitioners generally increase the dosage of all ingredients. The source text also advises adding Zhu Li to increase the effectiveness. Since this is not usually available in the west Tian Zhu Huang may substituted.
