Da Bu Yin Wan

Pattern: Yin deficiency with flourishing internally generated Heat

Key Symptoms: Steaming Bone Disorder with afternoon tidal fever, night sweats, spontaneous emissions, irritability, sensation of heat and pain in the knees and legs that is sometimes accompanied by weakness

Tongue: Red with little coating
Pulse: Rapid and forceful in rear position


Ingredients
Shu Di Huang 18g
Su Gui Ban 18g
Chao Huang Bai 12g
Jiu Chao Zhi Mu 12g

Subsitutions:
In the UK Gui Ban must be substituted with Han Lian Cao and Nu Zhen Zi.



Preparation: Decoction.

Actions: Enriches the Yin, directs Fire downward

Contraindications: Fire from Excess. Caution in Spleen deficiency with poor appetite and loose stools.
