Pattern: Blood stasis in the uterus

Key Symptoms: Abdominal distention and pain accompanying the onset of the period


Ingredients
Dang Gui 15g
Yan Hu Suo 15g
Mo Yao 15g
Hong Hua 15g



Preparation: Break up the ingredients in a mortar and pestle and place in a large jar with 1.3L of alcohol for one week. Remove the dregs and store for use. Take one teacup (25-50ml) on an empty stomach twice per day.

Actions: Invigorates the Blood and moves Stasis

Contraindications: Damp-Heat patterns and long term use due to the harmful effects of continuous alcohol consumption.
