Key Symptoms: Lower back pain
Secondary Symptoms: Long term use is said to moisten the complexion, redden the cheeks and fortify the elderly.



Ingredients
Hu Tao Ren 60g
Hong Zao 60g
Feng Mi 60g
Xing Ren 30g
Su You 30g
Bai Jiu 975ml

Subsitutions:
Bai Jiu (white alcohol) traditionally means distilled rice wine but can be substituted with any clear 40% spirit.
Butter and honey are animal products and so technically not permitted for internal use under the definition of herbal medicine in the Medicines Act 1968 ch. 67. Besides pointing out the absurdity of the law, they could be substituted for plant based syrups and vegetable oil substitutes for vegan consumers.



Preparation: Melt the butter and honey together and add to 975ml of alcohol. Grind the walnuts, red dates and apricot seeds and add to the mixture, seal the lid and soak for 21 days, remove the dregs and store for use. Take 15ml twice daily.

Actions: Fortifies the Kidneys and moistens dryness.

Contraindications: Damp-Heat conditions and long term use due to the harmful effects on continuous alcohol consumption.
