Pattern: Early stage measles or rashes due to External Invasion of a pathogen generating or bringing out Heat in the Lungs and Stomach or Spleen

Key Symptoms: Early stage measles or rashes that do not surface evenly, fever and chills, headache, generalised body aches, sneezing, coughing, red eyes, tearing, thirst

Tongue: Red and dry tongue
Pulse: Floating and rapid

Sheng Ma 3-6g
Ge Gen 3-9g
Zhi Gan Cao 3g
Chi Shao 6-9g

Preparation: Originally equal amounts of each herb were ground into powder and taken in 12g doses. May also be prepared as a decoction with the dosages indicated.

Actions: Releases the Muscle Layer and vents rashes
