Pattern: Heart Qi deficiency

Key Symptoms: Anxiety, apprehensiveness, worry and distress with palpitations, insomnia, forgetfulness, nocturnal emissions, spontaneous sweating

Tongue: Pale
Pulse: Deficient


Ingredients
Ren Shen 15g
Shan Yao 30g
Huang Qi 30g
Fu Ling 30g
Fu Shen 30g
Yuan Zhi 30g
Mu Xiang 75g
Jie Geng 15g
Zhi Gan Cao 15g
She Xiang 3g
Zhu Sha 9g

Subsitutions:
Due to toxicity Zhu Sha must be removed or substituted with Hu Po. In the UK She Xiang must also be substituted with Shi Chang Pu and Ru Xiang.



Preparation: Ground into powder and taken in 6g doses with warm wine.

Actions: Nourishes the Heart, calms the Spirt
