Pattern: Wind-Heat

Key Symptoms: Slight fever and thirst, cough, slight aversion to drafts
Secondary Symptoms: Thirst or slightly dry mouth, red eyes

Tongue: Red tip, thin white coating
Pulse: Floating (especially in right distal position) and rapid


Ingredients
Sang Ye 7.5g
Chrysanthemum 3g
Lian Qiao 5g
Bo He 2.5g (add near end)
Jie Geng 6g
Xing ren 6g
Lu Gen 6g
Gan Cao 2.5g



Preparation: Decoction. Do not cook for more than 20 minutes.

Actions: Disperses Wind and clears Heat, stops coughing by facilitating the flow of Lung Qi

Contraindications: Cough due to Wind-Cold
