Pattern: Dampness stagnating in the Spleen and Stomach

Key Symptoms: Distention and fullness in the epigastrium and abdomen, borborygmus after eating
Secondary Symptoms: Loss of taste and appetite, heavy sensation in the limbs, loose stools or diarrhoea, increased desire to sleep, nausea and vomiting, belching, acid reflux

Tongue: Thick, white, greasy coating
Pulse: Moderate, slippery
Abdomen: Fullness and distention around the umbilicus, epigastric fullness


Ingredients
Chao Cang Zhu 15-21g
Jiang Chao Hou Po 9g
Chen Pi 9g
Zhi Gan Cao 3-6g
Sheng Jiang 2-4sl
Da Zao 2pc



Preparation: Decoction.

Actions: Dries Dampness, improves the Spleen's ability to transform and transport, promotes the movement of Qi, harmonises Stomach

Contraindications: Yin or Blood deficiency. Caution during pregnancy
