Pattern: Wind attacking the extremities

Key Symptoms: Joint pain, numbness, headache, dizziness
Secondary Symptoms: Hemiplegia, difficulty in walking, aphasia, spasms, stabbing pain in the flanks, epigastric and abdominal distention, vomiting, diarrhoea and borborygmus


Ingredients
Wu Yao 9-15g
Ma Huang 6-9g
Chen Pi 3-6g
Chao Jiang Can 3-6g
Chuan Xiong 6-9g
Jie Geng 6-9g
Zhi Ke 3-6g
Bai Zhi 6-9g
Gan Cao 3-6g
Pao Jiang 3-6g
Sheng Jiang 2sl
Da Zao 1pc

Subsitutions:
In the UK Jiang Can must be replaced with Tian Ma and Tian Zhu Huang.



Preparation: Decoction.

Actions: Disperses Wind and opens up the Channels
