Pattern: Damp-Heat Food Stagnation obstructing the Stomach and Intestines

Key Symptoms: Pain and distention in the epigastrium and abdomen, dysenteric diarrhoea or constipation, scanty dark urine

Tongue: Greasy yellow coating
Pulse: Submerged, forceful
Abdomen: Distention of the epigastrium or abdomen, pain that increases with pressure


Ingredients
Chao Zhi Shi 15g
Da Huang 9g
Chao Shen Qu 12-15g
Fu Ling 9g
Huang Qin 9g
Huang Lian 9g
Bai Zhu 9g
Ze Xie 6-15g



Preparation: Decoction.

Actions: Reduces and guides out stagnation and accumulation, Drains Heat, Dispels Dampness

Contraindications: Deficiency conditions
