Pattern: Scrofula (Luo Li): Hard nodules on the side of the neck from dry Blood due to Liver Yang Excess

Xia Ku Cao 450g
Dang Gui 15g
Bai Shao 15g
Xuan Shen 15g
Wu Yao 15g
Zhe Bei Mu 15g
Bai Jiang Can 15g
Kun Bu 9g
Jie Geng 9g
Chen Pi 9g
Chuan Xiong 9g
Gan Cao 9g
Xiang Fu 30g
Hong Hua 6g
Da Zao 240g

In the UK Bai Jiang Can must be substituted with Tian Ma and Tian Zhu Huang.

Preparation: Decoct Xia Ku Cao until the liquid becomes concentrated, then add the other ingredients to the strained liquid until the mixture has the consistency of a thick syrup.

Actions: Promotes the movement of Qi, invigorates the Blood, transforms Phlegm, dissipates nodules
