Pattern: Liver and Kidney Yin deficiency with Qi stagnation

Key Symptoms: Hypochondriac, epigastric and chest pain, dry and parched throat, acid reflux

Tongue: Red and dry
Pulse: Thin and frail or deficient and wiry

Sheng Di Huang 18-45g
Gou Qi Zi 9-18g
Sha Shen 9g
Mai Men Dong 9g
Dang Gui 9g
Chuan Lian Zi 4.5g

Preparation: Decoction.

Actions: Enriches the Yin, spreads Liver Qi

Contraindications: Will severely aggravate pain and distention due to Dampness and Phlegm
