Du Zhong Jiu

Ingredients

Du Zhong 300g
Bai Jiu 1.9L

Subsitutions:
Bai Jiu (white alcohol) traditionally means distilled rice wine but can be substituted with any clear 40% spirit.


Preparation: Place Du Zhong in a large jar and soak in 1.9L of alcohol and seal the lid for 1 month. Open, remove the dregs and store for use. Take 10-60ml three times per day.


Actions: Fortifies the Kidneys, supplements Jing, supports the Zheng Qi.

Contraindications: Damp-Heat conditions and long term use due to the harmful effects on continuous alcohol consumption.
