Pattern: Damp stagnation in the Channels and Middle Jiao

Key Symptoms: Stifling sensation in the epigastrium with loose stools and body aches

Tongue: White coating
Pulse: Indistinct


Ingredients

Huo Xiang 9g
Hou Po 6g
Chen Pi 6g
Fu Ling Pi 9g
Han Fang Ji 9g
Da Dou Huang Juan 6g
Tong Cao 4.5g
Yi Yi Ren 9g

Subsitutions:
In the UK Han Fang Ji must be substituted due to fears over aristolochic acid. The usual replacements are Hai Tong Pi and Yi Yi Ren (already in this formula)


Preparation: Decoction.


Actions: Transforms Dampness, facilitates the flow of Qi in the channels
