Pattern: Phlegm-Fire

Key Symptoms: Incessant cicada-like tinnitus, hearing loss with occasional deafness, lightheadedness, a sensation of heaviness in the head, a stifling sensation and fullness in the chest and abdomen, coughing with copious sputum, bitter taste, urinary and bowel difficulty

Tongue: Red with a yellow, greasy coating
Pulse: Wiry and slippery


Ingredients

Zhi Ban Xia 2.4g
Chen Pi 2.4g
Fu Ling 2.4g
Gan Cao 1.5g
Huang Qin 2.4g
Huang Lian 1.5g
Bo He 1.5g
Sheng Jiang 3pc


Preparation: Deoction.


Actions: Clears Fire, transforms Phlegm, harmonises the Stomach, directs turbidity downwards.
