Ju Hua Jiu

Ingredients

Ju Hua 60g
Bai Jiu 500ml

Subsitutions:
Bai Jiu (white alcohol) traditionally means distilled rice wine but can be substituted with any clear 40% spirit.


Preparation: Cut the chrysanthemum flowers into pieces and soak in 500ml of alcohol for seven days. Take 30ml twice per day.


Actions: Clears Liver Heat, brightens the eyes

Contraindications: Long term use due to the harmful effects on continuous alcohol consumption, especially in an Excess Liver pattern which tends towards Damp-Heat.
