Mai Men Dong Jiu

Ingredients

Mai Men Dong 300g
Bai Jiu 1.9L

Subsitutions:
Bai Jiu (white alcohol) traditionally means distilled rice wine but can be substituted with any clear 40% spirit.


Preparation: Place Mai Men Dong in a large jar with 1.9L of alcohol and seal the lid (source text does not state but probably for 1 month). Open, remove the dregs and store for use. Take 10-60ml three times per day.


Actions: Supplements the Lungs, Heart and Kidneys, nourishes the brain, stops cough and wheezing, clears Heart Fire

Contraindications: Damp-Heat conditions and long term use due to the harmful effects on continuous alcohol consumption.
