Pattern: Deficiency Heat damaging the Blood and affecting the Ren Mai and Chong Mai

Key Symptoms: Early periods with profuse, thick and dark red or purplish flow, irritability, stifling sensation in the chest and abdomen, red face, dry mouth, yellow urine, constipation

Tongue: Red with yellow coating
Pulse: Slippery and rapid


Ingredients

Mu Dan Pi 6g
Bai Shao 6g
Shu Di Huang 6g
Di Gu Pi 15g
Qing Hao 6g
Fu Ling 3g
Huang Bai 1.5g


Preparation: Ground into powder and taken as a draft or prepared as a decoction.


Actions: Clears Heat and cools the Blood
