Pattern: Flourishing Heart Fire against a background of Qi and Yin deficiency

Key Symptoms: Seminal emission, turbid painful urinary dribbling, profuse uterine bleeding or vaginal discharge, all aggravated by overexertion.
Secondary Symptoms: Dry mouth and tongue, irritability, mild fever

Tongue: Dry


Ingredients

Lian Zi 15g
Fu Ling 15g
Huang Qi 15g (Honey fried)
Ren Shen 15g
Huang Qin 10g
Mai Men Dong 10g
Di Gu Pi 10g
Che Qian Zi 10g
Zhi Gan Cao 10g


Preparation: Ground into powder and prepared as a draft by cooking 10g with 1.5 cups of water until 80% of the water has evaporated. The dregs are removed and the draft mixed with cold water before drinking on an empty stomach.


Actions: Clears the Heart, augments the Qi and Yin, stops turbid painful urinary dribbling
