Pattern: Heart Qi and Yin deficiency with Blood stasis

Key Symptoms: Palpitations, shortness of breath and tiredness aggravated by movement, chest pain, insomnia, dream disturbed sleep, night sweats, lassitude of Spirit and social withdrawal.


Ingredients

Ren Shen 2 pt
Mai Men Dong 2.5 pt
Gan Song 2 pt
Sang ji Sheng 4.2 pt
Suan Zao Ren 4.2 pt
Shan Zhu Yu 5 pt
Dan Shen 5 pt
Chi Shao 2 pt
Wu Wei Zi 1.5 pt
Long Gu 3.3 pt
Tu Bie Chong 1.7 pt
Huang Lian 1 pt

Subsitutions:
In UK Long Gu and Tu Bie Chong would have to be substituted. Blood moving and Shen calming herbs like Hu Po or Je Jiao Teng may be appropriate depending on the circumstance.


Preparation: Prepared as 0.4g capsules, taken in dosed of 2-4 capsules, 3 times per day.


Actions: Replenishes Qi and Nourishes Yin, invigorates the Blood and dredges the collaterals, soothes the Heart and calms the Spirit
