Pattern: Sinking of the Zong Qi (Gathering Qi) in the chest

Key Symptoms: Shortness of breath, difficult and rapid breathing

Pulse: Submerged, slow and frail.


Ingredients

Huang Qi 18g
Zhi Mu 9g
Chai Hu 4.5g
Jie Geng 4.5g
Sheng Ma 3g

Subsitutions:
For severe Qi deficiency add Ren Shen and Shan Zhu Yu.


Preparation: Decoction.


Actions: Augments the Qi and raises what is sinking
