Key Symptoms: Fever and chills with aversion to cold or drafts, nasal obstruction, cough or wheezing, lack of sweating


Ingredients

Zi Su Ye 4.5-9g
Zhi Xiang Fu 4.5-9g
Chen Pi 4.5-9g
Zhi Gan Cao 1.8-2.4g
Dan Dou Chi 9-12g
Cong Bai 2-3pc (fresh)


Preparation: Decoction.


Actions: Releases the Exterior, regulates Qi, calms the foetus



Notes:
Zi Su Ye mildly induces sweating to release the exterior and calms the foetus making this a useful formula in pregnancy to gently release exterior pathogens without risking damage to fluids from excessive sweating.
