Pattern: Small Red Vein Passing the Eyes (小赤脈傳睛 Xiao Chi Mai Chuan Jing) due to Damp-Heat suppressing the Heart and affecting the eyes

Key Symptoms: Red blood vessels appearing from the outer canthus.


Ingredients

Jie Geng
Huang Qin
Da Huang
Mang Xiao
Zhi Zi
Che Qian Zi


Preparation: Grind equal amounts into powder and take 15g boiled in water after meals.


Actions: Drain Dampness and Clears Heat

Contraindications: This formula only drains dampness and heat and should be followed with a Heart tonifying formula such as "Pills to Stop Shadows," "Pills with Ren Shen to Supplement Exhaustion," or "Pills with Ren-Shen to Supplement Depletion."
