Pattern: Smouldering Damp-Heat or Damp-Summerheat in all three Jiao

Key Symptoms: Tidal fever, sweating, thirst, a stifling sensation in the chest, nausea, severe diarrhoea, scanty urine

Tongue: Greyish white tongue coat


Ingredients

Xing Ren 9g
Hua Shi 9g
Huang Qin 6g
Huang Lian 3g
Chen Pi 4.5g
Zhi Ban Xia 9g
Hou Po 6g
Yu Jin 6g
Tong Cao 3g

Subsitutions:
In the UK Hua Shi must be substituted with Ze Xie and Chi Fu Ling.


Preparation: Decoction.


Actions: Clear Heat and Summerheat and resolves Dampness from Upper Jiao, Middle Jiao and Lower Jiao
