Pattern: Exhaustion of Fluids, Xiao Ke

Key Symptoms: Constipation, thirst

Tongue: Red, dry
Pulse: Thin and slightly rapid, or weak and forceless


Ingredients

Xuan Shen 30g
Mai Men Dong 24g
Sheng Di Huang 24g


Preparation: Decoction.


Actions: Generates fluids, moistens dryness, unblocks the bowels

Contraindications: Severe dryness



Notes:
Usually for dryness following a Warm pathogen disease. If it does not resolve in 12 hours then Zeng Ye Cheng Qi Tang should be used.
