Pattern: Moderate Damp-Heat Accumulation in the Lung from Coronavirus infection

Key Symptoms: Fever, cough and scanty sputum, or yellow sputum, suffocation, shortness of breath, bloating, and constipation

Tongue: Dark red and fat body with greasy or yellow coating
Pulse: Slippery or stringy


Ingredients

Ma Huang 6g (raw)
Xing Ren 15g
Shi Gao 30g (raw)
Yi Yi Ren 30g (raw)
Cang Zhu 10g ("Mao")
Guang Huo Xiang 15g
Qing Hao 12g
Hu Zhang 20g
Ma Bian Cao 30g
Lu Gen 30g (dried)
Ting Li Zi 15g
Hua Ju Hong 15g
Gan Cao 10g (fresh)

Subsitutions:
Several herbs have to be substituted in the UK but the formula can be used as a base with which to derive others.


Preparation: Decoction. Boiled with 400 ml water, taking 1/2 of the dose in the morning and 1/2.


Actions: Transforms Dampness and clears Heat, moves stagnation and stop coughing
