Pattern: Wind-Cold-Damp Bi flowing into the calf and ankle

Key Symptoms: Bilateral puffy swelling, distending pain, heaviness and numbness of the calves and ankles.
Secondary Symptoms: Hypertonicity and difficulty walking


Ingredients

Bing Lang 12-18g
Fu Ling 20-30g
Mu Gua 10g
Cang Zhu 6g
Zi Su Geng 9g
Zi Su Ye 9g
Yi Yi Ren 30g
Fang Ji 10g
Jie Geng 4.5g
Wu Zhu Yu 6g
Huang Bai 10g
Niu Xi 12-15g

Subsitutions:
In the UK some substitutions must be made:

Bing Lang == Zhi Shi + Yu Li Ren
Fang Ji == Yi Yi Ren + Hai Tong Pi


Preparation: Decoction.


Actions: Downbear Qi and move water, dispel Dampness and disperse swelling, dissipate Cold and warm the Channels, soothe the sinews and invigorate the Luo Mai.
