Traditional Actions/Indications:

  1. Warms the Interior, tonifies Kidney Yang and Expels Cold
    Toothache
    Arthritis, sprains
    Drowsiness
  2. Tonifies Spleen Qi
    Loss of appetite, flatulence
  3. Kills Parasites
    Scabies, mites
    Insect repellent

Cautions: Avoid in Yin deficiency, pregnancy and patients taking anticoagulants. Caution on skin as it is a skin irritant and sensitiser.

Blends with: Spicy essential oils like Wild Orange, Frankincense, Cassia, Cedarwood, Ginger, and Cinnamon; also sweet, herbaceous essential oils like Roman Chamomile and Fennel
