Traditional Actions/Indications:

  1. Moves Qi and Blood
    Bruising, injuries, strains, sprains, knocks and falls
  2. Expels Damp-Heat Bi
    Arthritis with red, swollen joints
  3. Cools and nourishes the Blood and resolves Fire Toxins
    Chronic dermatitis, psoriasis, burns, acne, skin irritation
  4. Clears Lung Heat
    Sinus infections, cough
  5. Regulates the flow of Liver Qi and clears Stagnant Liver Heat
    Tension during an emotional crisis, mental and emotional exhaustion, loneliness and insecurity, emotional blockages
    Anxiety, suppressed anger, frustration, resentment, agitation, emotional instability, moodiness, sorrow and a negative outlook
    Deep frustration and bottled up resentment

Cautions: Caution in Yang deficiency.
