Clear the Liver Powder

Pattern: Epidemic Red Eye (天行赤眼 Tian Xing Chi Yan) due to Wind-Heat Toxins affecting the eyes

Key Symptoms: Eye swelling, pain, sandy roughness, and difficulty opening that is spread easily and quickly.


Ingredients

Da Huang 40g
Zhi Zi 40g
Fang Feng 40g
Bo He 40g
Chuan Xiong 40g
Dang Gui 40g
Qiang Huo 40g
Gan Cao 40g


Preparation: Grind 1 liang (40g) of each ingredient and mix with 10-15g with hot water and take after meals.


Actions: Clears Wind-Heat, resolves Toxicity and brightens the eyes.
