Pattern: dysphagia due to Blood Stagnation with Blood Deficiency and Heat or Blood Dryness with Blood Stasis in the chest

Key Symptoms: Chronic indigestion with fixed stabbing pain, loss of appetite and distension, emaciation
Secondary Symptoms: Vomiting, constipation.

Tongue: Pale or dusky red or purple with little to no coating
Pulse: Weak and choppy or thready and rapid

Sheng Di Huang 30g
Shu Di Huang 20g
Dang Gui 10g
Tao Ren 10g
Hong Hua 6g
Bing Lang 6g
Sheng Ma 6g
Zhi Gan Cao 3g


Preparation: Decoction.


Actions: Nourishes and Invigorates the Blood, Disperses Blood Stasis, Clears Heat and Cools the Blood
