Pattern: Consumptive disease due to Yin Deficiency with Empty Heat and Dampness

Key Symptoms: Fever, shortness of breath, coughing, emaciation, hot flashes, night sweats, weak and sore lower back and knees, loose stools
Secondary Symptoms: Spontaneous sweating, palpitations, inhibited urination

Tongue: Red and peeled, may also be swollen
Pulse: Deficient, rapid and slippery


Ingredients

Shan Yao 30g (fresh)
Xuan Shen 15g
Bai Zhu 9g
Ji Nei Jin 6g (fresh, ground)
Niu Bang Zi 9g (dry-fried, ground)


Preparation: Decoction.


Actions: Enriches Yin, clears Heat and drains Dampness
