Regulate the Middle Pill

Pattern: Taiyin syndrome with Middle Jiao deficient and Cold, Taiyin type disharmony of Yin Wei Mai

Key Symptoms: Abdominal fullness and distention, vomiting, thin or unformed stools, dirrhoea with watery stools, cold hands and feet
Secondary Symptoms: Emaciation, fatigue, loss of appetite, excess frothy saliva, cough with thin watery sputum, absence of thirst despite diarrhoea or thirst with no desire to drink, various types of bleeding

Tongue: Pale red with white coating that may be thick, greasy or wet
Pulse: Submerged and thin, frail, thin and forceless, slow and frail
Abdomen: Hard focal distention in the epigastrium, weak and cold abdomen


Ingredients

Gan Jiang 9g
Ren Shen 9g
Bai Zhu 9g
Zhi Gan Cao 9g


Preparation: Decoction.


Actions: Warms the middle Jiao, strengthens the Spleen and Stomach

Contraindications: Externally contracted disorders with fever, Yin deficiency, excess conditions
