Furanochrome smooth muscle relaxant with vasodilator and bronchodilator activities used in the treatment of angina pectoris, asthma, and vitligo in conjunction with UV-A. It is the progenitor molecule of the cardiac dysrhythmia medication Amiodarone.
- Visnagin
Furanochrome with roles as a vasodilator, an antihypertensive and anti-inflammatory agent. It may also prevent the buildup of calcium oxalate crystals in kidney stones and inhibit malate dehydrogenase in mitochondria to protect against doxorubicin-induced cardiomyopathy. Toxin in its pure state.
- Visnadine
Coumarin vasodilator used for centuries in Egypt as a spasmolytic.>/li>
