Traditional Actions/Indications:
  1. Clears Heat and resolves Toxicity
    Enteritis , dysentery, red and white dysentery
    Boils, Sores and ulcers of the lower extremity that are difficult to heal (風疽), lacquer sores
    Pelvic inflammatory disease, painful urination
  2. Kills Parasites
    Scabies, white baldness in children

Suggested Daily Dosage: 30-60g fresh, eaten or in decoction, or decocted and washed for skin disorders.


Cautions: Eating too much can deplete Qi and Blood, stirring Wind and causing dizziness so should be avoided in chronic disease. Eat a lot of food to prevent stirring of wind.
