Traditional Actions/Indications:
  1. Invigorates Blood and alleviates pain
    Injuries to sinews and bones, sprains, swelling and pain from Blood Stasis
    Wind-Damp Bi Syndrome
  2. Strengthens the Sinews and Bones
    Lumbago
  3. Stops Bleeding
    Profuse menstruation, flooding and spotting
    Also used in Ayurveda for bleeding from ulcers, nosebleed and bleeding gums.
  4. Clears Heat from the Lung and alleviates wheezing
    Used in Ayurveda for respiratory congestion and wheezing from excess Pitta
    Fever with cough
  5. Clears Damp-Heat from the skin
    Also used in Ayurveda for Damp-Heat type (Pitta-Kapha) skin disorders
  6. Lowers Blood Pressure
    Hypertension

Suggested Daily Dosage: 0.5-1.5g of powdered leaf per day.
