  1. Tonifies the Spleen and stops diarrhoea
    Diarrhoea
    Red dysentery (exocarp powder)
  2. Clears Heat, resolves Toxicity and alleviates thirst
    Thirst, dry mouth, inflamed gums, mouth sores
    Burns, scalds and eczema
    Often eaten after durian to clear Heat generated by this hot fruit

Suggested Daily Dosage: Eaten as fruit or exocarp taken as powder. Leaves may also made into tea.


Cautions: Avoid in cases of kidney disease, heart disease and diabetes.
