Traditional Actions/Indications: It is used to remove toxic heat, reduce heat from blood, induce diuresis; for the treatment of hemoptysis, sore throat, inflammation of the eyes, dysentery, edema, stranguria, morbid leucorrhea, carbuncles and sores, burns and scalds, snake bites, difficult urination.
Suggested Daily Dosage: 15-30g in decoction.
