Traditional Actions/Indications:
  1. Releases to the Exterior and Clears Wind-Heat
    Colds, fever, no sweating, cough
  2. Moves Qi, Relieves Stagnation and Calms Shen
    Palpations, insomnia, abdominal cramps, anxiety, shortness of breath
  3. Promotes Urination and softens Nodules
    Urinary stones, atherosclerosis, headaches, skin rashes
  4. Cools the Blood and Stops Bleeding
    Nosebleeds, epistaxis

Suggested Daily Dosage: 2-4g per day.


Cautions: Generally considered safe.

Some caution is advised with existing heart conditions as the German Commission E monograph concluded that the linden flower is cardiotoxic but no scientific basis for this claim has been found (EMA, 2012).
