Traditional Actions/Indications:
- Expels Wind and dissipates Cold
Wind-Damp Bi syndrome, numbness in the limbs
Externally contracted Wind-Cold, cough and wheezing
Cold pain in the stomach and abdomen, toothache
- Breaks up Blood Stasis, disperses swelling and relieves pain
Knocks and falls
Menstrual disorders, dysmenorrhoea, postpartum abdominal pain
- Resolves Toxicity
Swelling pain of sore and boil, scalds, snake or insect bites.
Suggested Daily Dosage: None given. Probably the same as other piper species, 1.5 - 3 g in decoction.
