- Warms the Kidneys and strengthen Yang
Hernia caused by Cold
Soreness and weakness of waist and knees
- Tonifies the Spleen and Stomach and replenishes Qi
Abdominal distension, tympanites
Oedema
Spleen and Kidney Qi deficency
Suggested Daily Dosage: Cooked for eating.
Cautions: It is contraindicated in case of excessive phlegm, interior heat with yin deficiency and fever.
The liver should not be eaten as it contains toxic levels of Vitamin A which can cause illness and even death in overdose.
