Suggested Daily Dosage: 9-12g in decoction, or eaten as food.
Cautions: Pulses generally have a high FODMAP score (George Eats, April 2024), so should be eaten with caution in cases of abdominal distention and swelling due to Spleen Dampness. Chickpeas have a low FODMAP threshold of 29g servings, moderate at 33g and high at 108g.
