Traditional Actions/Indications:
  1. Disperses Blood Stagnation, regulates Qi, softens hardness, disperses tumors and removes toxins
    Dyspepsia, a painful hard abdomen, intestinal colic, esophageal obstruction, choking due to inadvertent swallowing of bones, dysphagia, esophageal cancer, abdominal mass
  2. Increases uterine contraction and promotes contraception
    Deficient spasmodic menstrual conditions, amenorrhea, dysmenorrhea, prolonged pregnancy, miscarriage, stalled labor

Suggested Daily Dosage: 1-12g in decoction, or up to 60g for cancers.


Cautions: It is contraindicated to pregnant women.
